Mr. McGarry is the recipient of the 2007 Young Lawyers' Conference Outstanding Service Award. Biography: Lambda Chi Alpha; Phi Delta Phi; Vice President, George Mason School of Law Trial Advocacy, April 2003-April 2004. Prior to going to law school, Mr. McGarry worked for the United States Commerce Department. During law school, Mr. McGarry was a law clerk for the Law Offices of Betty Thompson, Ltd., and a law clerk in the domestic relations practice group at Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C. Mr. McGarry was also a legal intern for the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce. Mr. McGarry was born in Switzerland and grew up in New Jersey. He is an avid food connoisseur and enjoys cooking as well as dining and has dined at 90% of the restaurants listed in the Washington, D.C. Zagat's Survey. Reported Cases: DeHaan v. DeHaan, 54 Va.
